Mazowsze DVD

I wonder if you ever saw it. It is a Polish folk dance group. Its name is Mazowsze.

  1. I didn’t know that there was Mazowsze DVD available. Any idea where I can get it? Years ago I borrowed the Mazowsze CD from my co-worker. When I listened to it several times it felt as if there was a deep sorrow tugging at the music expressing something quite profound about Poland. Beautiful, soulful music.

  2. I hadn't heard ethnic music such as this in a very long time. It has a catchy beat and it seems to be a calming in nature. I found this music to be happy, and uplifting to one's spirit. I really think I may like to own some Polish folk music in the future.

  3. Luckily, the stunning peformances of Mazowsze have been recorded in 2006 live in Warsaw and released on DVD in 2007 by WLIW in New York. The quality of the DVD is truly amazing (it was shot in high def. and adjusted for standard DVD playback). This DVD can easily be purchased from a Canadian DVD website, at CAD 19.95 (less the USD 18.95): www.polishfilm.ca
Amazon and other websites in USA sell it at USD 24.95. They ship quite fast and pack very well, recommended.

They also have a large variety of Mazowsze CDs, plus Slask Ensemble DVD live 2004 from Poland (Slask being regarded as the only Ensemble in Poland matching Mazowsze standards)
